My computer freezes unexpectedly and shuts down without any error messages in the logs. This issue started after a power outage. Someone suggested it could be related to a PSU problem. It seems unrelated to my current activities, as it occurs at any time.

Event Viewer and Reliability History are not displaying any data. Running sfc/dism might reveal an Event 41, indicating a possible power issue.

Yeah, I ran SFC and Event Viewer only saw unexpected shutdowns. It’s not really clear what’s going on. I just cleaned my PSU and the whole PC, checked all connections after the third shutdown, and also cleaned up the surge protector. There’s still a lot of dust everywhere that I can’t clear.

there is a significant amount of dust inside the pc, some areas are hard to reach. I did my best, but if I experience another shutdown, I’ll check if anything is actually wrong and share it. I’m not sure what else I can offer, since I’m thinking about purchasing a new PSU to test, but I’d prefer to try other tests first.

Do you keep an eye on the heat levels? Are there any tech lovers interested in investing in expert support?
