The crashes in CS: 2 often reference "lib_burst_generated.dll" as the issue. Some recommend removing Unityplayer.dll and reinstalling Steam to check the game's stability, which has worked for me. The Rust crash was linked to Epic Games' background process, possibly a one-time event. I’m just hoping things improve.
Also keep an eye on your GPU temperatures. I experienced some strange problems because my old GPU was getting too hot. After reapplying thermal paste, all the unexpected crashes stopped.
Certainly, some games have that issue. I find it frustrating. There are too many chances to fail.
GPU temperatures are excellent; I've been monitoring them closely. For epic purposes, I turned it off at startup.
