Hey everyone, I received my motherboard yesterday and began assembling it. The antenna backplate is slightly bent backward, which is complicating the fit with the i/o shield. Anyone have suggestions on how to fix this? I've tried adjusting it a bit, but it tends to snap back. Thanks!

They are fastened to the metal using a few nuts for stability. There’s no wiring or connections that rely on the plate, so they could float freely and still function. I’d just add a bit more force and attempt to bend it back. Don’t overdo it, but I shouldn’t be too concerned. Provided nothing else is broken, that should be fine.

Extract the bent port connections and ensure they are fully aligned before securing them to the motherboard.
