You're experiencing intermittent USB connectivity problems with your Asus Crosshair Hero WIFI board. The issue seems to occur randomly, especially when typing, and affects certain devices on your monitor's hub. You've already tried several fixes like disabling USB selective suspend, turning off the hubs in Device Manager, adjusting ports, and resetting Windows. Since other devices work fine, it might be related to power management or driver conflicts. Consider checking for updated drivers, testing with a different USB port, or temporarily removing and reinserting peripherals to rule out interference.

There might be a cause behind the issue depending on the equipment you connect. It could start with basic problems like lack of power, or more serious matters such as limited motherboard capacity or I/O conflicts. You can attempt to disconnect all USB devices from your PC, test one by one, and observe if symptoms appear. Continue this process until you identify the conflicting device. Your BIOS configuration is also important—adjusting the Base Clock might influence polling frequency and sometimes trigger errors. If you use a gaming keyboard with software that allows polling frequency changes, try setting it to 400Hz and see if it resolves the issue. Occasionally, motherboard USB interfaces struggle with higher rates like 500Hz. I’m uncertain, but there have been cases where connecting a wireless controller (like Logitech F710) causes problems with system components such as RGB lighting or other settings, possibly due to I/O or memory conflicts. Windows hasn’t reported any issues in those instances. Best of luck.
