I'm experiencing problems where my USB ports intermittently disconnect for a brief moment while gaming. I ran OCCT to check the CPU and GPU, but the issue only occurred during heavy GPU usage. All other peripherals like the mouse, keyboard, and wireless headset work fine. My 850W PSU and new motherboard are still in good condition. I've updated the BIOS, but the problem persists. I'm using a powered USB hub, but it happened even when connected directly to the motherboard. Someone mentioned this on Nvidia's forum—it seems like a common issue.

Switching to PCIe 3.0 appears to address the problem. It's not a complete fix, but it works now. I've reached out to Gigabyte support for further details.

I understand it's quite outdated. Are you seeing the same problem with your ASUS motherboard and Sapphire 7900XT?

I sold the board and purchased an MSI Pro-A Z690. It’s been smooth ever since.
