You're still experiencing issues with the old PC ports from that particular game developer (*cough cough* Ubisoft).

They managed a decent effort on Max Payne 3, but it wasn’t exactly a port. The music was created independently of the consoles. I’m hoping they achieve similar quality in GTA V.

I still experienced a lot of stuttering in the MP3 file on a 2GB card, likely because of my AMD CPU. Playing the game wasn't smooth, so I decided to stop using it. I'll attempt it again once my Intel system is available next week.

They likely realized their errors by playing GTA IV.

If everyone in the GTA community did this, it would be awesome. Probably only a few hundred out of thousands would do it. As a dedicated fan, I’m one of those who won’t skip a release, no matter how poor the port. Last time I played GTA it was SA and people criticized it, but I enjoyed it and didn’t see any major issues—just some bugs. Unless the game is completely unplayable or runs extremely slow, I’ll definitely buy it.

Right now, my main worry is that the new denovo DRAM design adds unnecessary stress to SSDs... You might want to skip the expensive 60GB model just to play GTA V on it.

Of course, but I wonder—if you purchased it right at the start, what aspect would you regret leaving behind? You’ll still have to wait the same period, won’t you?
