I have a Samsung Odyssey G7 with 1440p and 240 Hz display. The monitor works fine with HDMI, but it shows a black screen when using UEFI BIOS. With DisplayPort it functions properly, though the port is limited to 144 Hz because the monitor doesn’t use its 2.1 interface. I discovered that enabling CSM in BIOS can resolve the issue, but it doesn’t work for me. I’ve tried updating the BIOS and the monitor firmware, but the display port driver still doesn’t fix the problem. Nvidia only provides updates for lower-end models, so anything above that isn’t supported. My system runs on a 4070 Ti.
