You have a low-quality cable that got tangled in your 49-inch monitor. The control doesn't respond. You're considering cutting it yourself, but the metal wrap on the display port might harm the screen. It functions properly, but you need to sell it.
I managed to get it done. A small plastic fragment was covering the button, preventing it from being pressed properly. I had to open the button with a thin knife and then use another knife to push one of the latches.
