Popularity vs. Automatic Irrigation Dilemma
I'm working on a project recently. I installed a Kraken X63 AIO for the CPU and got a set of NZXT F120 fans, including an RGB hub. The issue is that both the AIO and the RGB hub share a single USB_56 port on my motherboard (ASUS ROG STRIX B-660A GAMING WIFI D4). My setup only has one of those ports. I've experimented by disconnecting the hub from the board and leaving just the AIO connected, but then the fans activate and the RGB stays blank—no color changes or movement. When I connect the hub instead, the fans work but the main screen doesn't respond at all. There seems to be no easy fix here. I'd really like everything to be addressable, but it looks like my board's limitations force me to make compromises. Thanks ahead! P.S. Links to manuals might help if you need them.

These types of splitters are usually considered safe when used properly. The manufacturer’s guidelines help ensure they’re reliable. Just keep in mind individual usage conditions matter.
If you have concerns, consider the NZXT model or similar brands. They might face bandwidth issues with the USB port, but a hub can handle it. Your needs won’t approach that restriction.
