If your system currently has 16GB of RAM and you're thinking about increasing it to 32 or 64GB, note that this board only has four RAM slots, but the CPU memory controller is quite limited. I've been using this motherboard for nearly two years and have put together a stable setup after extensive testing. I'm running 4x 8GB Corsair Vengeance lpx 3600MHz RAM sticks with a Ryzen 5 3600 processor. Below are the verified, tested configurations. (Using either 1 or 2 sticks) - XMP enabled on one stick works at 3600MHz; another stick also supports 3600MHz in dual channel mode. Slot 2 - Two sticks of 8GB work fine. (4 sticks) - Disabling XMP, switching to Overclocking, set memory speed to 3000 or 31xx, leave others default. Save, restart, and try again.) Ideal setup: single 16GB stick or two 16GB sticks for 32GB; four 32GB sticks for 64GB. BIOS version: 7C02v39. The memory controller is located on the CPU, not the motherboard. We don't have details about the specific RAM model or the BIOS version used. I have the board from my second system, which functioned properly with two Kingston HyperX DDR4 3200 CL16 paired to Kingston HyperX CL32. One used Hynix CJR and the other Hynix JJR.
Thank you for the update on the memory controller. It seems the system was originally set up for 3200MHz, but it no longer supports that speed. The BIOS version is 7C02v39.
Corsair does not produce RAM. For testing, use tools like PassMark RamMon or Thaiphoon Burner to check your memory. Your BIOS is quite old—no surprise there are problems. There have been 7 updates since you were on Agesa 1.1.0.0, which means it's about a generation and 8 subgenerations back. Update the BIOS and try XMP again.

The previous message mentioned that RAM is produced solely by Samsung, Hynix, and Micron. Other manufacturers existed before, but they are no longer active. If you don’t agree, I’ll flag your posts for sharing misinformation.
I'm discussing the business that provides those rams. Most people don't realize the final company behind it; they just see Intel, AMD, Cooler Master, Nvidia, AMD, or Corsair. I'm curious about how you feel I'm not working together. That's not respectful.

Well, here is an update. 7C02v3F Bios version. 3600Mhz 4x8 Sticks of Rams does not work right out of the box in Tomahawk Max Msi B450 Motherboard. Had to run them at 3200Mhz although it is not stable too. Many times i get BSOD and ram goes to 2133 Mhz XMP off Overlocking off. Game Boost Off.
