He recently moved from Fedora to Pop OS, but the second SSD isn’t showing up. I looked in Disks utility, gparted, and lsblk—it’s using NTFS, but it worked before on Fedora and appears in the BIOS. He doesn’t mind formatting it, since nothing important is stored there.

Is this device running Windows? If yes, ensure Fast Startup is turned off. Windows locks the filesystem since Fast Startup acts like hibernation, and altering drive data might ruin the installation.

Really, though, my friend said he was planning to go back to Windows. It’s a shame since I didn’t face any issues with Linux on my laptop.
