I've been using my Ryzen 7950x for three months now. I haven't checked how my Cinebench compares to others. I turned on eco mode at 105w but didn’t revisit the settings. Recently, I noticed my Cinebench R23 score is significantly lower—about 2,000 points behind typical scores. A normal score for a stock machine is around 37,000, but mine is 35,500. In eco mode at 105w, I got 33,400, which is 1,000 points less than others. My motherboard is an Asus B650 Plus Prime. Is this typical?

It's typical, considering your cooling setup and whether you're using eco mode or high-performance settings. This isn't unusual.

Stock conditions confirmed. Core clock speed and package power are within expected ranges. BIOS is current. PBO Curve Optimizer parameters are set.

I own the most recent Asus BIOS release 1222. The eco setting is active. During testing at launch, clock speed reached 4,933 MHz, power consumption was 160W, and the CPU package drew 200W.

Hello~ I understand this discussion was shared earlier, but I’m here to assist if you notice my query later. I recently assembled a PC with a 7950X3D and a crosshair X670E, I have limited experience with overclocking. My goal is to keep the processor at its stock speed, but I’m seeing a low score on Cinebench R23 (around 30K). I only know my CPU temperature stayed near 85°C during CR23 runs without changing any BIOS or OC settings on the motherboard (BIOS version 2007). I’m curious if this is typical for a 7950X3D without enabling PBO/OC settings, since many users report scores above 36k or even 37k with no adjustments. After returning the CPU to the builder, they confirmed it’s functioning within limits, possibly due to silicon quality variations. With all that in mind, do you think my score is simply a coincidence? Appreciate your support ahead of time.
