Yes, unless you prefer a lower frame rate.

It might not be worth reinstalling; checking the files first could help. Research suggests Fallout 4 still faces problems with AMD graphics cards, though other sources may offer more details. Start by disabling godrays if you suspect the problem is related to graphics.

If you had reviewed the post, you'd notice he altered the settings already. It's about the game and his card isn't functioning correctly.

Ah, well, my bad. Anyone tell you you're a bit snarky? @Archertwin When running the game have you verified with task manager that you aren't somehow maxing your CPU or Mem, or another process is kicking up along with it taking CPU cycles? Also, here's a different thread in the Steam forums than the one above also indicating this might be common as well as some suggestions for addressing it: https://steamcommunity.com/app/377160/di...414330590/

I reinstalled everything, switched off Godrays, disabled tessellation in Wattman. Still nothing different. Even at 800x450 it remains at 38FPS.

I resolved it by checking for problems at the exact frame rate I was receiving. A Reddit user suggested adjusting the Display Adapter settings to 60Hz instead of 75Hz. After making that change, I’m seeing 60FPS on Ultra with minimal Godrays. It drops to around 40 in busy scenes, which is better than the 38 I was experiencing before.

In fact, you're the first to notice it. I was attempting to highlight the error in your statement, as it seemed like the third person who made the same mistake.
