Hey everyone!

I recently acquired a new PC, just a few months ago, hoping to finally play my preferred games – like CS:GO, Fortnite, GTA 5, and Team Fortress 2 – at a competitive and fluid level. However, I’m experiencing an issue where my frame rates are consistently poor, typically ranging from 90 to 150 fps in almost every game. Even with relatively strong hardware, I’m consistently seeing these low numbers, even when utilizing the lowest settings on CS:GO at a 4:3 resolution and leaving my framerate uncapped in Fortnite. I’ve attempted numerous troubleshooting steps, including running various launch commands and reinstalling Windows, but the problem persists.

My monitor is connected to my graphics card using DisplayPort and it's a 144Hz Samsung LC24RG50FQUXEN monitor, so I need to maintain a frame rate above 144 for an optimal gaming experience.

Here are my PC specifications:

AMD Ryzen 5 2600 @3.6 GHz
XFX RX 580 8 GB, with the newest drivers
Corsair Vengeance LPX Black 16GB DDR4 3000MHz CL 16
Gigabyte A320M-S2H Motherboard
650 Watt Power Supply

I’ve also researched online and found many videos showcasing individuals with similar hardware achieving frame rates of 200-300 fps in CS:GO and over 170 fps in Fortnite. Could someone offer assistance with resolving this issue?

Are all components – motherboard, RAM, and power supply – identical?
Could you provide the manufacturer and model number for your 650-watt power supply unit?
What are the CPU and GPU temperatures, along with their usage levels, while playing the game?
Is your RAM operating at a speed of 3000 MHz?
What percentage of the RAM, hard drive, and solid-state drive is being utilized during gameplay?
Please execute a malware scan on the system.

The motherboard and power supply are not identical, but they are closely related.

I apologize; it’s a 600-watt unit, specifically a Segotep SG-600A.

My system is ready—the RAM is operating at 2000 MHz, averaging approximately 1300 MB/s in Afterburner.

Yes, I routinely conduct checks on a weekly schedule.

During gameplay, the RAM speed reaches 2000 MHz (as indicated by MSI Afterburner). However, my system's RAM is configured to operate at a standard 3000 MHz frequency from its default settings.

I didn’t find any favorable critiques for that power supply unit.

This was included with the setup, from the same company that made the enclosure.

Please verify that the memory speed is set to 3000MHz within your computer's BIOS settings.
