I tried software manager and chose the one that seemed most professional, though not the highest rated—4.1 versus 4.2. The version I used (flatpak with 4.1 stars) felt more genuine; I didn’t read the details. The other option (4.2 stars system package) had screenshots resembling old Steam, making me doubt its recent updates. Since I’m still learning, I’m unsure what to prioritize. Installing through software manager is better because it lets your OS handle packages smoothly. Also, that fix came from a deb package I downloaded online. The flatpak I got mentioned a performance problem and required granting access, which also happened. Overall, everything seems resolved now.
