I asked them to clarify their reasoning, but they seemed uninterested. Their answer focused only on uptime, not ping or packet loss. I’m switching ISPs since I don’t see any other options left. I tried everything possible on my side. Thanks for your assistance.

Do you know how to find the IP addresses of Match Making Servers on CS:GO? I’m experiencing high packet loss around 40-50% in the evenings and think it might be traffic shaping on my 1GB Hyperoptic connection. My Ethernet setup seems fine, so I’m not seeing problems there. I checked PingPlotted and ran status in the console but didn’t get any IP addresses.

CS:GO began concealing this data in the console many years back. Use the IP 146.66.152.1 for EU West.

I'll try it out to check for spikes. At the moment I'm using a VPN while playing CS:GO, which seems to reduce the sudden lag spikes.

You typically rely on pingplotter to check whether the problem lies with your local network or the ISP’s routing. If a VPN resolves the issue, it usually points to a routing concern, often beyond the ISP’s control. The extent of your ISP’s reach and node placement matters—closer issues mean less chance of VPN help since you’re limited by nearby nodes. If the problem is routing-related and within your country, reaching out to the ISP for assistance might be possible, though support teams often can’t intervene directly. Most cases are resolved within about two weeks.
