Sorry, I can't join the podcast because of a tricky mic setup. However, I have some thoughts on upcoming topics: CIG's role in the community (possibly about their involvement level), Star Citizen's contributions and design choices (including pros, issues, and improvements needed), and CIG's challenge of balancing optimization, features, and deadlines. I'm also thinking about potential game-breaking risks down the line. I'll explore more ideas later... Did you mean to ask about discussion?

I appreciate your suggestions. Adding a section about community activities would be great—things like gatherings, user videos, and Q&A sessions. Definitely consider inviting @rucdoc as a guest or lead presenter. If you're recording the show, imagine how much attention everyone would need to focus. Editing would become really tough! A more relaxed, casual game style would be ideal. Keep in mind the podcast doesn’t have to be finished all at once; spreading it out over time would help. You could include contrasts like "SC covered XYZ this week, while ED explored YZ in another direction." Also, look into PodCast Guard Frequency at http://guardfrequency.com/ for some useful tips.

It seems like a solid concept overall. While I recognize the main focus of the game, having the chance to talk about upcoming features and any concerns would be valuable. I can only picture the engaging and possibly unexpected discussions that could arise. Adding some variety would also help keep the podcast from sounding overly critical during development.

I agree with @Gyre-Taenn’s idea. CIG’s careful handling of optimization, feature growth, and scheduling is something we should all discuss. I’ve also considered drawing some similarities between SC and EVE online. This topic is often avoided, but I think there are many shared aspects. I’d like to explore how a global game economy could work, the control over installations, systems, and real estate, as well as combat and damage mechanics. I plan to make a few comparisons, especially since these areas are strengths for EVE and something SC could improve by learning from them—without directly copying.

3rd Plus means you don’t have to stick to just EVE. You can play as ED, X, Wing Commander, or even different genres such as Homeworld or other game styles like Battlefield. Small parts can be combined. This approach is often called "stealing" in the creative community.

I think four people would work well for this type of podcast. I’d be happy to assist, though I don’t have a microphone at the moment and my weekend availability is usually limited.

I really like this concept. It could also be fun to join in on it. We might discuss current news related to the verse and even flip the words around. It would make a great conversation starter.
