Attempted to lower CPU speed to 5.1GHz, but it fails to boot and shows a black screen. The motherboard is Z590 A Pro 10700K and has an orange LED indicator.

If you adjust your clock speed without changing the voltage, I suggest gaining some knowledge about overclocking first. Restart your BIOS. Here is your guide on page 22: https://download.msi.com/archive/mnu_exe...09v1.2.pdf Consider using a reset switch pin layout from the front IO cluster and power on the PC to return it to the default setting.
