oh...ok then...ill not use that charger...There is no swelling though...it is completely fine physically look wise...Thay is why I asked If it is even worth an attempt
I just left the phone on its standard charger for an hour...and it looks like the battery is still active, showing a small voltage of about 0.03V instead of staying at zero. The voltmeter reads that, which might mean it could be revived. I’m thinking maybe waiting a few more hours would help. No noticeable heat came from the battery during the whole hour.
I attempted to use a 10W charger instead of the original 0.75W one. Initially, with the higher wattage, charging took about 30 minutes and generated a lot of heat. After an hour, the phone started working, showing 3.9V on the voltmeter (rated 3.7V, reaching 4.1V at full charge). However, it still didn’t power on properly. I tried a new battery last month, but it cost a lot and was returned for a fee. I’m wondering if this caused damage to my phone.
