Hey guys!
I own a UtechSmart Venus Laser precision MMO Gaming mouse (16400 DPI). When I run the UtechSmart driver (the correct one, not from the official site) and set my preferences, I can't apply them and see the message "Please connect your mouse device before apply new settings".
Trying to switch USB ports didn't help either. My settings don't register or save even after creating a file. It's odd because I can choose everything I want, but when I click "Ok" or "Apply", the same warning appears...
I also tried uninstalling and reinstalling the driver, but nothing worked.
Checked if there was a forum discussion, but found nothing.
I hope I've explained my issue clearly so someone can help me.
Thanks for your support!

the question refers to the correct driver that is not related to the UtechSmart website.

A significant issue was discovered with the UtechSmart driver on their official site, prompting me to retrieve a previous version from another source (a solution found in a forum). Initially, I struggled to launch the software.

The previous version appears to be non-functional. Please reach out to utechsmart or return the mouse.
