anyone else know the reason for my unusually high var in matchmaking/offline with bots, while it's normal on workshop maps and community servers? I've been investigating for a few weeks and the var returns to normal after about a week without any changes. I've played CS since 2019 and never faced this issue before, tried everything possible, even reinstalled the game after downloading it. Restarting my router hasn't helped either. I'm wondering if maybe I need to reapply thermal paste, though my PC stays below 40 degrees during CS play.

Are there any other games you're experiencing problems with?

What are the details of this system (model numbers for all parts)? Which operating system is being used? Are your primary hardware drivers, including the motherboard chipset, video, and network components, current? Are you adjusting performance settings (overclocking)? How much space do your storage devices occupy?

16gb ram, i7 6700k, gtx 1080 graphics, 240gb Kingston ssd and 120gb Kingston ssd. Don't recall the rest—around 50gb on c drive and over 200gb on z drive, both ssd. My friend once helped me overclock the ram, but that was a year ago and it's functioning well now. I'm using Windows 10. I updated all my drivers with a program last week too.

I don't have a specific program to mention, but I used the appropriate system to retrieve that information.

Ugh, this software is terrible. It misidentifies many drivers, and it creates a lot of problems. You should update your drivers yourself and remove that shoddy version.
