Hello,
I recently purchased a new laptop: "Acer Nitro 5 Ryzen 5 Quad core HHD 8GB Ram Gtx 1650". When playing Fortnite on it, I experience 120-140 fps initially, but after every 7 to 8 seconds, the game freezes for about a second before returning to 130 fps. Sometimes, I encounter severe stutters whenever enemies appear in front of me or when I destroy trees with my pickaxes, or while walking near a large city. This makes the game difficult to play.

I have connected my charger, turned off game mode, set Windows to high performance, and am playing Fortnite at low settings and 720p resolution. To resolve the stutters, someone recommended increasing my RAM, as I only have 5.70 GB usable out of 8 GB. The integrated GPU uses about 2.30 GB, which is for a Vega 8 chipset. Can I increase my RAM without buying a new one using this method? Please advise if there are other possible reasons for the stutters.

I really need your help and would appreciate it very much.

Neither of those videos boosts your RAM usage.
There is 8GB allocated, divided between the iGPU and the remaining system parts.
2.3GB is consumed by the iGPU of your CPU.
This leaves 5.7GB available for the rest of the system.
If you somehow cut down that 2.3GB used by the iGPU, graphics performance would decline.

Begin by researching how memory is utilized. Check the Resource Monitor/Memory section; sort the data by column headers if needed. Examine the Task Manager/Startup tab for applications or utilities running in the background that aren’t necessary. Disabling them might release unused memory. But avoid disabling anything without understanding its purpose. Review your findings and share accordingly.

I use Razor cortex, a program that blocks these apps before playing games.

It's reasonable to remain cautious about third-party tools. I recommend verifying memory consumption using Resource Monitor and Task Manager, both with and without Razor Cortex active. It's worth exploring what Razor Cortex is doing and whether it provides any benefits.

It releases up to 700mb from my memory. It's a recognized game booster tool. It performs various functions beyond just saving space.

Getting more RAM through the link shared might work, though it usually comes with compromises.
The issue could stem from memory itself or something else entirely. Using Task Manager and Resource Monitor can help identify connections like disk drives or network problems that might cause stutters.
I don’t use Razor Cortex, so I’ll wait for other users who might comment more specifically.
Still, I plan to shift this discussion to the PC Gaming thread, where players using Razor Cortex could provide better advice and ideas.

Purchasing another 8gb RAM stick isn't costly and can assist if your system needs more memory.
