I completed Assassin's Creed 3 for free on Uplay, but felt a sense of emptiness afterward. I then purchased the Tyranny of King Washington DLC. When attempting to play it, I received the error message: "cannot connect to Ubisoft servers, please try again later." Have anyone found a solution? I've already searched and shared this on the Ubisoft forums.
Someone points out that the free game they received isn't identical to the original version. It doesn't display the DLC content on the UPlay site. I'm worried about paying a lot for DLC since it might not be worth it. I think they probably offered limited games instead of full content. Check UPlay, look at the details under your AC3 game, then compare with the "regular" version. It shows options for DLC and extras. CONSPIRACY!
I resolved the issue! The DLC key codes were successfully added in AC3MP, ending the connection problem! ffs ubisoft ;_;
