Encoders dislike plants; dense grass and bushes make the stream appear blurry. You’ve also learned that 864p offers better quality over 1080p.

Really, that's an interesting angle 🤔. Could adjusting the foliage quality actually benefit the outcome?

To get a clearer view, increase your encoding settings. The image clarity changes dramatically between high and low bitrates, but it also puts a strain on the CPU. I once sent my videos to a server on my local network for encoding before streaming them. After upgrading my desktop to 1440p, capturing became difficult since the capture card was no longer affordable.

I’ve always thought about having a dedicated machine for encoding. What would it cost? Would the second one need to be powerful? Yep.

Your CPU setting is configured for advanced video processing, specifically x264 encoding. You might consider using a streamlined PC setup with an i5+H81 chipset, a standard motherboard, no GPU, and a compact SSD.

It runs really well. I was curious about whether a 4790k can manage high speeds or even faster performance.

I operate my Xeon at medium speed. The settings are 3500 bitrate, 720p resolution at 45 frames per second.

Sure thing! 45fps is solid and gives a smoother experience. It works well across many titles, not just Fortnite.
