Playing the game at 1440p with stable performance on your setup still causes occasional stutters while driving. The i7 4770K with 4.5 cores and 16GB RAM running on an SSD in a MSI TwinFroze 290X CrossFire configuration is handling it well, but frame rate drops can happen under certain conditions.

I've never experienced stuttering issues, except when using Netflix simultaneously.

This game is brand new, and the crossfire settings in the driver might need some adjustments.

Occasionally I experience a stutter or texture glitch with my single card, though it's within what one might anticipate from a large open-world title. If this happens frequently, it's likely just the inherent complexity of expansive games.

The issue arises from games consuming excessive VRAM. OC3D conducted a test and discovered the game requires significantly more VRAM than advertised.

To get certain settings active, Chrome must stay closed or you can’t watch anything. The game will lag when it runs. I’m going to test if the stuttering continues after I disconnect my second monitor and set up just one.

Turn off high-resolution shadows in the advanced graphics settings, regardless of your VRAM capacity.
