It seems like you're looking for a solution to run your gaming PC smoothly on your MacBook Pro without extra lag. Could you clarify if you're trying to stream or just play games locally? Also, confirm the exact model details so I can give you the best advice!

Quicksync offers a faster alternative, but NVENC still provides strong performance. Which suits your needs best depends on your specific requirements.

It would be helpful to use a streamer on your home setup to send the feed to your MacBook. Then, simply adjust the screen area on your Mac and continue streaming without needing a capture card.

There’s no audio coming from the gaming PC, yet it seems you might connect the headphones to the MacBook.

You should choose a different capture card since we don’t have the HD60. At your workplace, Elgato HDs are available, but you might want to consider alternatives that fit your needs.

I own an older El Gato HD and I'm unsure if it functions on Mac. It occasionally stutters when switching between devices, but it should work smoothly when transferring to a PC.
