It could be risky to stop the connection via RDP using an Ethernet cable, especially if both ports are Gigabit and connected with a Cat6 cable.

Another friend gave it a shot. It helped a bit, though it wasn’t ideal. Suitable for strategy titles but not great for quick-paced games. RDP isn’t designed for streaming. It might be worth trying Steam Remote Play instead.

I wouldn't rely on RDP since it wasn't built for that purpose. I'd opt for Parsec or Steam for home streaming—they're both tuned for remote gameplay and support controllers.
