I just started playing CSGO with my usual setup (360Hz monitor). When I opened the game, the screen kept tearing at 360Hz. The only way to temporarily fix it was to lower the display to 60Hz, which isn’t ideal for me as a serious gamer. I’ve updated and reinstalled my GPU drivers, changed the monitor driver, but nothing works. Could someone help me resolve this? I want to know why it happened and whether my monitor or GPU is faulty or if it’s related to the new Nvidia driver update. I also saw a YouTube video about this issue, but I’m curious about the cause and how it affected my setup.
Avoid screen tearing by using a different GPU port if feasible. Consider a new or different cable. During driver reinstallation, after removing all existing drivers, use DDU (display driver uninstaller) and locate a previous version from nvidia.com. Skip GForce Experience and test older versions.
