Hey! With your old laptop's specs, you should be able to run most of those titles smoothly. For FPS, aim for around 30-60 FPS depending on the game. If you're into RPGs and adventure games, expect around 20-40 FPS, which is typical for older hardware. For action-packed titles like Silent Hill or Resident Evil, you might need a bit more power, but many will still run well. Games like Uncharted, The Last of Us, and popular shooters such as Battlefield, COD, and Rainbox Six should be manageable. Just check the recommended settings in each game for optimal performance.

These are my top picks for any gamer to enjoy. I’m not sure if you’ll like them, but I’d definitely suggest Path of Exile, Minecraft, Dark Sector, Half-Life 2, Left 4 Dead, Team Fortress 2, Quake 2, Star Wars: Knight of the Old Republic, Straftat, Human Fall Flat, Castlevania Anniversary Collection, The Fallout Series, Mortal Shell, Elder Scrolls, Skyrim, and Oblivion. Also check out One Armed Robber, Dragon Quest, Final Fantasy.

I suggest checking out the Borderlands series, specifically titles BL1 through BL3. Once you start, you’ll become so hooked on farming that playing other games feels impossible.

I find the cartoonish design not appealing.

The GTX 1060 mobile chip performs comparably to or better than a standard PS4, allowing you to run most games except those made specifically for today’s consoles.

They're talking about adventure titles such as Uncharted, The Last of Us, Horizon Forbidden West, Rise of the Tomb Raider, and The Last of Us. I'm focusing on games that offer immersive experiences without needing high frame rates or fast reflexes.

Think about classic point-and-shoot games you might enjoy. Games like Medal of Honor, Call of Duty, Battlefield, and others fit that style well.

Checking my Steam library, here are some titles that should work on your system: Shadow Warrior (2013), Alan Wake 1, Metro 2033, Last Light Crysis series, Rainbow Six: Vegas Sniper Elite V2, 3 Singularity Bioshock trilogy, Call of Juarez: Gunslinger, Half Life 1 and 2 (consider the Black Mesa remake for newer visuals), and FEAR.
