In Minecraft videos using a GTX 970 and Intel Core i7, players achieved 250-1000 fps. With an R9 390, around 100 fps was typical, matching the GTX 970 performance. My concern is whether you’d still reach 250+ fps with an R9 390. It seems possible, as the R9 390 performs comparably to the GTX 970. Minecraft works well with Nvidia GPUs, though results may vary based on settings and hardware.

Minecraft runs on a CPU...yes, definitely you'd be right.

I've got a 6600K at 4.4 and a 390; I see about 250 depending on how far you look. Since Minecraft runs on CPU, it should perform better with a 5820K.

MC performs effectively with any GPU, and since everyone using it is also using recording software, you might surpass their results even with slightly lower specifications.

I play Minecraft on an AMD Phenom x4 9750 and a Nvidia 8800 GT, achieving 250 to 300+ frames per second at high to maximum settings.
