For those who enjoy Battlefield 4, investing in extra memory can really make a difference. If you can afford it, adding 4GB of RAM will boost your performance. Think about it!

It depends on your system's load; F4 doesn't require 4GB RAM, though it typically needs around 2GB (sometimes a little more when using Mantis).

If you use Dextory just to record your gameplay, it will capture your sessions but won't provide any additional features or enhancements.

If ram usage reaches 75% (3GB) it will start to cache the game. and you may start having huge drops in specific actions. You could disable caching, just make sure you dont run out. Just to give you a hint, I bought another 8 GB for a total of 16GB just because of this. Waited for specials

He uses the Intel HD 4000 graphics card and has 4GB of RAM. It seems to work well enough.

I hit the memory limit while playing BF4 with an 8GB RAM setup and disabled the pagefile, causing the game to rely heavily on it. Keeping the cache size small or zero helps maintain better performance.

You were thinking about purchasing a 4GB DDR3 1600MHz single stick and then another one around six months later. That sounds fine.

It should work properly, though you might notice a slight decrease in frames per second.
