It's cool how the inquisition runs smoothly at 60-80fps with two 980s. I didn't play the game myself, but I saw Kotaku's benchmark article. At 1920x1200 with double MSAA, they average around 59fps. Maybe his system has some hidden optimization or the game isn't scaling well. I haven't checked that one closely yet.

It seems to be SLI scaling. My one 970 handles it at ultra 1080p with double MSAA and no stuttering. The game runs very smoothly.

It's accurate. I typically achieve around 45 FPS during the day and 60 during the night on low/medium settings. My rig includes a Phenom II x4 955 @3.8GHz, 4GB RAM and a GTX 470 SC. Proof available here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0ndjomuozKQ It doesn't matter which software was used.
