Playing BR discs on W11 with VLC
Hello, I need to use Windows 11 to play some BR discs using VLC. I’m already managing the non-BD+ ones easily. I just copied the following to:
C:\Program Files\VideoLAN\VLC
keydb.cfg
libaacs.dll
libdvdcss-2.dll (for DVD playback which works fine)
As mentioned, the non-BD+ discs are playing without issues. From what I understand, I should add:
libbdplus.dll
I found a version but it didn’t work. Anyone else have solutions for playing BR discs with that BD+ problem? Thanks.
There are multiple iterations in this post, with one updated this year and several copies of libaacs.dll available.
