Hey there, I'm really frustrated about this situation in Borderlands 2. I'm stuck dealing with Wilhelm, and it feels like I've made a huge mistake by saving before the fight. I ended up with limited ammo—only a few rounds left—and no good grenades or launchers. Every time I die, I have to start over at the checkpoint with just a few shots of shotgun and some sniper ammo. It's tough because Wilhelm is so strong, and once you're down on ammo, you're at a disadvantage. I really need to adjust my inventory and stock up before facing him, but since I can't escape the boss fight, it's a bit hopeless. It seems like Wilhelm isn't that difficult to defeat, but with only 15 shotgun shells and maybe 20 sniper rounds, it feels impossible. Any suggestions would be super helpful!
There is a quick travel station just before the fight next to the chest, stock up on mirv nades or acid shower nades, shotguns work great as all pellets hit due to wider target. You could try a rpg if you which, i normally just get a metric tonne of explosives lot and at some point in time wilhelm dies.
You just fired a handgun. Also, try using shock-type weapons on the shields... As far as I recall, that works.
I won't depend on quick fixes to defeat that bot :lol. I'll focus on completing side tasks until I'm satisfied with my gear.
