It worked well before, but I often overlook doing it. It happened on my PC and also with my younger sisters. Usually, allocating RAM for a game is the last thing you think about while playing. Java!

Java relies on it, but if you're multitasking while playing Minecraft, performance can drop. With 16GB of RAM, giving it 8GB should keep things running smoothly.
