I'm experiencing inconsistent performance with my rig despite a decent build. Upgrading to a 1060 was expected to help, but I still face frame rate drops from 60fps to around 10-15 fps. I've checked CPU, GPU, and memory usage without any unusual activity. My system specs include an Fx-4300 with 8GB DDR3, a 1TB HDD, GTX 1060, and a 600W PSU. What might be affecting stability?

The CPU handles general tasks and multitasking, while the GPU is dedicated to processing graphics and complex calculations for rendering images, videos, and simulations.

They remain near 80 to 90 percent most of the time while the game continues.

The number 80 to 90 sits in that range, often seen in various contexts. People mention it when discussing specific thresholds or benchmarks.

When the GPU isn't consistently at 90-100%, the CPU may become the limiting factor, causing performance drops and stuttering.

He needs details about both the processor and the graphics card. The performance gap matters if the GPU is high-end while the CPU is lower-end, or the reverse.

I reviewed many popular tips for boosting FPS in Ark posts and selected the most effective ones. I have activated the command (useallcores) on Steam and run the game in low memory mode. Although I can achieve 60 FPS on medium settings, which my system should handle, I still experience stuttering even at the lowest graphics settings. Looking back, I observed unusual activity in Physical Memory and Network from Task Manager history, showing disk usage around 95%. Could my HDD be limiting CPU and GPU performance?
