Hey everyone, I hope someone has encountered this problem before and can offer help. I recently switched my monitor to an LG Ultra Gear, but I’m still keeping my two older 1080p HP monitors connected for a 3-monitor setup. Whenever I connect the LG monitor, I run into Windows 11 night light issues. The main problem is that after a long period off—whether it’s morning, noon, or night—I wake up and the PC turns on with the night light still active. I can’t just switch it off unless I restart the system, and even then, the Windows settings freeze and close without doing anything. I’ve tried everything: disabling auto-mode, updating drivers, refreshing the GPU and display drivers, clearing registry entries. Nothing seems to work. It’s becoming quite frustrating, and I’m starting to think this might be a serious issue. I’d rather avoid this hassle forever than keep restarting just to use my PC. Please let me know if anyone has any ideas or solutions! Thanks!

Sleep quality is poor in windows. Check what it does to my RGB before I restart. Make sure you close windows correctly when you're using it. It's a completely different experience. All it takes is less than a minute of loading.

Discover the method to toggle night light via the quick menu. Have you experimented with it? The settings appear inconsistent, making it hard to pinpoint a solution.

Ensure HDR is enabled for Windows and switch to fullscreen mode.

Thanks all for the support! It turns out HDR was the culprit. I attempted to disable Auto HDR, but it didn’t help much. The best fix was to reset everything completely. That resolved the issue, so I just need to remember to turn it back on manually whenever I play. Another small cost when trying to be a PC gamer, huh?
