There seems to be an issue where the game fails to launch despite meeting other requirements. It appears the system isn't responding properly, showing no errors or windows but simply staying inactive. You're seeking a software fix for this particular problem.
Intel's integrated graphics have consistently performed well in my usage. I once ran GTA IV on the iGPU without realizing it was a slow experience, except for the visual quality. Of course, they simply lack the capability to handle visually demanding games at smooth frame rates.
I too have had many great experiences with integrated graphics from Intel. In my experiences it runs many games and even some graphically intense ones with the sliders turned down. I was pleasantly surprised to find my i5 surface pro 3 with 4gb ram running Guild Wars 2. And my 2011 mac book pro (that I use for app development and coding) run League of Legends at medium settings at around 50 to 80 fps on the integrated graphics. If you are planning on running the latest AAA titles I would suggest buying a GPU or upgrading if you are using a laptop. New generation GPUs are just releasing and something like the RX 480 will be very affordable. If you want a faster laptop there is a cheap gaming ACER laptop I would give a look. I put Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 1 on my PC, but it didn’t work at all. Opening the executable didn’t trigger anything. The only missing requirement was the graphics card. Then I noticed how much the game demands—really strange!
