Yes, you can run BF4 on a 64GB USB 3.0 flash drive without installing it on your computer. It may be faster than using an internal HDD since USB 3.0 offers quicker data transfer speeds.

Likely no, and even then it would take longer.

Offers quicker performance compared to external drives, though results vary based on the quality of the stick. source: http://usb.userbenchmark.com/

It seems the process takes a long time to start, especially when using an HDD, which makes USB 3.0 feel very slow.

It might be tricky to set up. You can't just run the game there and play. You need to install it onto the USB drive while updating the PC's registry. Yes, you could do it, but it wouldn't let you play the game on someone else's computer from the USB—it would only function on the original machine.

It would take longer compared to an internal drive, but possibly quicker than an external one. It can't just be plugged in automatically, but if you have all the game files ready, you can set the origin on the drive and it should work without issues. You might be able to jump into play in minutes. At school, though, that wouldn't be possible if that's your goal.
