My Toshiba Satellite has a 4K screen and an external 1080p monitor. I play Team Fortress 2 on the 4K display but want Steam open on the second screen so I can see my achievements. I tried opening Steam on the second display, but it only shows the desktop instead of the game window. This behavior worked before on my old Windows Vista laptop.
The game runs in fullscreen mode on the laptop screen at 4K resolution, serving as the main display. The secondary monitor is connected via an external setup at 1080p.
Run TF2 in a borderless windowed setting. Fullscreen can cause unexpected behavior.
Based on what I recall, it seems to have a GTX 950M graphics card and a Core i75500U processor.
