When faced with that scenario, I’d dive into Minecraft. If upgradable ships come out, I’d consider switching to Starbound.

Sniper Elite is an excellent title. If not, consider Euro Truck 2 on Steam (though it may not suit everyone). Call of Duty remains a solid choice for solo play. You might also enjoy Medal of Honor Allied Assault or Pacific Assault if available, they’re highly praised.

Its not bad at all, I have ~300 hours played on PC and there was really only one bug ever that really had a negative impact on my play experience, other than that, its one of the best games ever made in its genre. At its current price of $5, you can't find more content and play time for that price.
