Play Smite and Dota 2
What about those who enjoy Smite and Dota 2? Are you considering moving to one of the two? I feel a bit stuck with League of Legends lately—seeming more toxic each day, making it hard to enjoy. Any other online games you think would be great suggestions? I’m a big fan of CS:GO too!
I’m comfortable with Spanish speakers. It means I won’t get flustered by anger!
Smite is uncertain, but players in Dota 2 seem much more relaxed about being criticized than in League of Legends at certain stages. Because the meta offers a wider variety, you won’t face backlash for choosing a second carry, as long as you don’t disrupt lanes or create obvious weaknesses in team balance. Still, when it comes to feeding and general gameplay mistakes, things are quite similar to LoL. I’ve generally had more positive experiences with Dota 2, which I think is intentional. There isn’t a single jungling role; instead, supports and mid-laners usually handle the ganking, so conflicts between players aren’t as rigidly paired like they are with ADC and support in LoL.
I enjoy smite because it offers a unique first-person experience compared to MOBA games. It provides an excellent feel. I don’t engage much in community discussions and prefer not to play standard maps. I really like the arena mode, especially the one that mirrors Hollowing Abyss from League. The standout part is being able to chat with enemies during gameplay (no global chat).
From Dota 2, LoL and Smite are my favorites. The gaming scene is worsening each day. The communities are slipping into disrepair. I truly wish they switch to a subscription model (like $49.99 per month) instead of the current free-to-play approach. More kids with poor behavior are showing up. If you're just starting out, it's fine—I mean everyone begins somewhere.
I don’t even play ranked anymore—single or team—it really frustrates me when someone keeps complaining about how terrible we are, especially when they’re the one stuck in a ranked game. Most Dota games feel this way too, but the community is just awful. It’s hard to believe these people fill up tournament halls and spend millions on games like TI4.
