There are many limitations, but it aims to let more people test the game and decide if they want to buy it. Still, I don’t like how the expansion pricing treated us veterans or our concerns. This is great for new players, but not necessarily for everyone else.

I understand paying is fine, but I hope they offer something more special for pre-owners, like a large game poster of their pick (Anet has some really cool posters for sale, covering entire walls).... *sigh* I shouldn’t be complaining, especially since I’ve received Christmas cards signed by the developers twice in a row. One of them was from a WvW designer I know—those cards are hand-signed and only a few hundred are sent out each year. With millions of players, it’s odd I got one at all.
