Hello, on the release day I bought GTA V for PC on DVDs and kept all my games in my Steam library for easy access via the web or other features. But when I added them, the Steam overlay didn’t work with GTA. Have anyone found a fix? Also, I ran PlayGTA.exe as administrator to let it launch through Steam before it would crash.
due to poor server performance and delays, downloading the digital file was slow and took a long time—sometimes hours or even days. we had to shorten the process to a simple download link, but that still required some users to spend extra time. unfortunately, there’s no way to fix it.
If i can i purchase a hard copy of all my stuff. In some countries like australia the internet is so far behind it's not funny. Majority of the house holds also have a Data cap limite wich can be maxed out in just downloading GTA. I personally don't have those issues but i do share it with other family memeber and do not wish to use up the all the data. Also physical copies are good because if need be you can re-install it without having to wait for your internet. Have you made "PLayGTA.exe" run as administrator in the compatability tab? This is what fixed it up for me. The crashing that is.
