You're planning a gaming PC build—great! For fun to play together, consider titles that suit your group's tastes. Popular choices include action-adventure games, competitive multiplayer titles, and immersive role-playing experiences. Let me know if you want more specific recommendations!
I can suggest games I've played with friends, though that doesn't guarantee they match your preferences. Division 2, Diablo 2, Resurrected Borderlands, Left 4 Dead 2, and newer titles like Back 4 Blood. Gunfire Reborn and Deep Rock Galactic.
Consider the game's release timeline and your current needs. If you want a fresh experience, start now; if you're eager for Diablo 4, plan accordingly.
There is no release date for Diablo 4, so I wouldn't wait. Diablo 2 is plenty fun but may require some nostalgia to fully enjoy (assuming you played it years ago), because the gameplay isn't quite modern anymore. Diablo 3 has a more modern flow for gameplay and ability assigning. I'm personally playing the heck out of Diablo 2 Resurrected, but then, I played it tons 20 years ago. If you're fully new to the franchise and want more of the story, start with D2. If you simply want the most modern play style, start with D3.
A simple game for Co-op that doesn’t involve battle royale elements.
