Many of us have seen notifications urging us to switch to Windows 10. However, the focus here is on gaming. If someone upgraded to Windows 10, how long would they have to wait for games to be compatible? If you set up Windows 10 on a gaming PC, how many titles would stop working? Additionally, how long do you think it will take for Windows 10 to become the standard platform?

It seems most games should function properly because of directX.

He uses Windows 10 Preview and finds gaming performance better than Windows 8.1, similar results expected. Full DirectX 12 support is available for W10.

I truly wish most games and third-party apps work perfectly backward with Windows 10...

I don't believe that will happen, Windows 10 is expected to work well. Assuming it won't is just setting things up for problems

Users with AMD GPUs notice a solid performance increase. Keep in mind, this applies to just one title, yet it's still quite impressive
