I tried it before using MotionJoy and a basic $10 BT adapter purchased from eBay. It performed really well with emulators.

Try this: https://code.google.com/p/x360ce/ Here's my guide for it: It recognizes almost any peripheral and makes it appear as an Xbox 360 controller to the PC.
