Hello, I strongly dislike the need for additional apps to run and install games I buy. I prefer downloading installation files so I can install them anytime, anywhere, without depending on third-party tools after every OS update. I was very pleased when I found GOG.com, as it meets that need, but its selection is quite narrow. Would you like to know if there are other services like that? Thanks :-)

Absolutely, that's a solid point. No DRM really adds value.

Absolutely, it’s much more intuitive, and I really appreciate it :-) . It’s frustrating when you purchase something only to find it unusable.

Steam doesn't impose much DRM since you can enjoy games without an internet connection. Unless you include Steam as a third-party service.

You must begin the process by heating, not every title does.

Previously, I used to find the app intrusive. I spent a lot of time removing it from the registry. I also don’t really appreciate how much market share they claim to have, especially since being a successful PC game developer without Steam is challenging for me. I favor more variety in this area. I’m sorry, but I’m confused about what “sti” means or if there was a typo. I know the “go offline” feature in Steam, but it still feels odd, and after my last experience with that app I really didn’t like it.

Yes, I noticed the mistake. You still need to remind me.

Absolutely, I understand. The offline mode does have some problems, and it can become quite frustrating during travel.

That's correct, Disks is the only DRM-free solution I'm aware of.

It doesn't seem to bother you much anymore, if any at all. I usually manage to tolerate the steam for a short time when it helps me get my library organized. Almost every game works this way.
