Elementary OS seems geared toward media production. Any ideas for experimenting with beats or similar projects without directly playing games?

I've used various systems but mostly rely on Ubuntu or Fedora. I prefer well-supported, widely used options.

Elementary stays consistent with media creation across all distros. The key is choosing one you feel at ease with. It’s great if the distro comes with the tools you need built-in. Otherwise, you’ll have to add them yourself. For instance, I prefer Linux Mint because it has some of my preferred applications, but I still install extra programs like GIMP, Inkscape, and Openshot separately.
