Hello! I discovered Planetside 2 and my friend wanted to play it. I started it for the first time and it worked, but I didn’t finish the tutorial because school began. When I came back, I restarted it and encountered an error below. I tried rebooting and uninstalling Microsoft Visual C++ (all ten of them, hehe), then reinstalled it again. However, only the 2013 x64 and x86 versions worked, but it still didn’t function properly. Thanks for your help!

I only have one verified discussion for resolving the problem. Assume the CRT display isn’t powered on. You might want to run the app with admin privileges—it often helps.

I found a workaround and it's quite unusual. It seems that when your Razer apps are open, they don't function properly. So I simply closed Synapse and In-Game Engine, and it worked even on Steam—no need to go through the directory settings.
